ATCO SUPER SERIES FINALS TICKET DEMAND SETS NEW RECORDS

The announcement is a major boost for the Professional Squash Association’s marquee annual event, which under the joint-stewardship of Ziad Al-Turki, Vice-Chairman of the ATCO Group, and Paul Walters, founder of internationalSPORTgroup, will be held at The Queen’s Club in London from the 14th to 17th March.
 
First staged in Switzerland in 1992, the championships first moved to the unique location of Broadgate Arena in 1999. The five-day ATCO Super Series Finals - London 2008 will feature two pools of four players, leading to finals which will produce a 1-8 finish, and will boast one of the richest prize funds in the sport.

The ATCO Super Series Finals – The Queen’s Club 2009 will bring together the top eight qualifiers from the annual PSA Super Series World Tour and will feature two pools of four players, leading to finals which will produce a 1-8 finish.
 
World No1 Karim Darwish of Egypt will lead a star-studded eight-man line-up which will feature compatriots Amr Shabana, Ramy Ashour and Wael El Hindi; Australia's David PalmerThierry Lincou and Gregory Gaultier of France; and James Willstrop of England.
 
“Since acquiring the rights to this major event, we have been working very hard at finalising a solid and sustainable commercial platform from which the championships can prosper over the short, medium and long-term,” said ” Ziad Al-Turki.
