The Egyptian will see his profile raised considerably, with an extensive marketing campaign planned by HEAD to promote his endorsement and reinforce the company’s status as the world’s leading racket brand.

“We are glad to have the World’s No.1 player on Tour as part of the HEAD team,” said Robert Marte, Executive Vice President of the HEAD Racquetsports Division.

Paul Walters of internationalSPORTgroup, the squash specialist marketing and management company that represent the Egyptian star, said: “The timing of Karim’s partnership with HEAD could not be better and at just twenty-seven years of age his best years are still ahead of him.”

Born in Cairo, Egypt, Darwish is married to female fellow HEAD player Engy Kheirallah and since turning professional in 1999, the former World Junior Champion has claimed fifteen (15) PSA World Tour titles from twenty-four (24) final appearances.
