Alister Walker Unable To Overcome Gregory Gaultier In Allam British Open 1st Round

Former British Open champion Gregory Gaultier started his 2013 campaign with an excellent 11-6 11-9 11-1 win. The Frenchman looked in sharp form as he despatched Walker, from Botswana, attacking throughout and dominated the middle, much to his opponent's frustration.

Afterwards Gaultier commented: "It was a really tough first few games played at a good pace. I'm happy to get the win and would really like to win the tournament again although it is so tough at the moment with so many quality players."
